The Site

Located in what was the outport community of White Point, the Site was constructed in 2000 for the filming of the international TV mini series, Random Passage, based on the novels Random Passage and Waiting for Time by Newfoundland author Bernice Morgan. It includes houses, a church, fishing stages, fish flakes and more.

It is an approximately 10 minute walk from the one room schoolhouse -where you will purchase your ticket - along a gravel road to the Site. On your return, follow the coastal trail through George's Cove, take in the spectacular views and imagine what life must have been like for the early inhabitants who walked these paths to church and school.
