Passage Site has developed an educational program that provides
a hands-on approach to teaching students about the past so that
they will leave with a greater appreciation of early life.
We will provide hands on with the
kids of chinking houses with moss, bringing prop fish from the
fish stage and spreading, learning how salt fish is made,
visiting Lavina’s 1800 period school using slate & chalk and
learn how water was brought from the well with wooden buckets
and water hoop and some traditional games.
Depending on the availability of
staff and resources, the fall and spring programs may be adapted
to accommodate your specific needs. Call to discuss these
options as advance notice is required.
